This song needs no introduction and as far as my attempt goes, I have stepped out of my comfort zone, I should say. I hope I have done some justice to this song.
My special thanks to Sudha for her valuable input and it has made a big difference between my first take and the latest. For a change, did a few re-takes with this one but not sure if I will do so in the future (it is a lot of work :)).

Uthra….wow ….I guess this is the first time you are attempting a hindi song. Great attempt….loved it….your really connected with the soul of the song….loved the throw….more hindi please. All those re-takes dont go in vain, even I do a lot of retakes…there is no harm as long as you dont punch or patch :-) Loved it very much.

Uthra – Very good singing and well modulated – worth the retakes Uthra!.The badal ke line sounded v cute, but the shortened sanam sounded abrupt. In the mix, your voice seemed a bit away, if you get what i mean. And my mixing knowhow being topnotch(!), cant tell what needs to be done to fix that.

Rads: Oh no, don’t tell me that I have to do many re-takes for each song (just kidding) but am glad to see your comment. This is the first song where I really spent a lot of time singing and recording. Well, mixing is another department. Will write to you offline. Sanam… Asha sings sanam different in the original and my attempt sounds like an abrupt ending :))

One of the songs which I have listened to, in a loop… Got instigated to listen to this cover version of yours on seeing the notification… :-) A Valiant choice to start ur count of hindi covers… It was pretty evident that the scale scorched you to work-with… But liked ur cuteness-layered singing and ‘sanam’ definitely sounded odd bringing your authentic, seasoned voice to the front… Nonetheless discounting it, this was fabulous and I enjoyed listening to this… Yet to listen to your, ‘Panneeril nanaintha’ which happens to my fav as well… Keep rocking… Good Luck…
