Awesome rendition Sowmya ….expressions rhombam nallayrike:-) just a few tamizh words I know. You really lived the song ……agree with Rakesh, this should go down as one of your best with dum maro dum. Try and work on hindi diction, with practise u will get there. Hats off to surajit da…he is a wonderful person and has a wealth of ktracks always willing to share.

Listened to it once again, with my ear phones on ….what a treat sowmya, esp the voice modulations, twists and turns is just mindblowing !! The alaaps were just top notch …running out of words here …. Very Commendable thing to note here is that there was no element of Ashaji in your rendition …you made it your own ….but kept the soul of the original…wah

The pitching issues about which I was saying in “Aao Huzoor” are very few may be one or two places only, that too very fractional… I will point them out with time stamp when I get time to hear it leisurely…Regarding the shakiness I was telling it was in the mukhda, where it sounded like having more vibrato than needed . Or was it part of the expressions?

Sowmya- am still having trouble listening here. But sounds alright when i listen to downloaded version. Nice expressions on the charanams. Pallavi could have been better primarily bec i felt the voice needed to be more steady, though i know the mood suggests otherwise :). Though i am not the one who should write about diction :) – some words which needed close mouthing were opened out.Am sure you will understand what i mean if you listen to the original closely.
