Hi! My name is Danise, from Illinois, in the US. I’m a 45 year-old widow, but blessed to have been reunited with my childhood love. I’m the eldest daughter of a very well-known Irish folk singer-Danny O’Dea. My lifelong love of music has always been eclectic, including everything from classical to Celtic, Middle Eastern, Classic rock to country and easy listening. As well as growing up on The Clancy Brothers and Debbie Friedman, My genres also include Barbra Streisand, and Neil Diamond. Basically everything but rap and hip hop, which are really not music. I have a degree as a wildlife Veterinary Technician, and have been in animal care all my life.

I used to play violin, (fiddle), and a little guitar, but, due to a permanent injury to my left hand, I ma now learning the Bodrain, the Irish hand drum.
