One of our most fav from A R Rahman’s Box of goodies “Tu hi re” from Bombay.
A superb combination of Hariharan-Kavita Krishnamurthy is the essence of this mellifluous tune.I am introducing Sourav Ghosh for the
first time here on Muziboo.I was shaken to the core listening to few of his own compositions on Facebook.A Classical trained Singer from Bengal,
Sourav, poured his heart and soul to make this rendition a superb one.It was hard for me to match his high pitched tonal quality although we both agreed to maintain the original
pitch of the song without taking the scale down.This is one of the toughest challenge for me and I tried my level best.
Eagerness and cry of heart for the love is projected in the whole song.More than the tune,what appealed to us is its depth and the feel and the flow of the overall song.

Sourav— very nice voice & nicely done improvs as well. Somehow, felt some of your words and a few landing notes were a little unsteady (0.29/.48-.49ish for instance). Your higher registers were very good, and so was the feel! Ofcourse, these are just nitcpicks in an otherwise neat rendition, and is not meant to take away anything from the effort :)

I am dumb founded. You surely have a playback quality voice. Your profile pretty much explains why :-) But still, have heard many people who have ’trained’for years, but only a few really sound great
You have captured the expessions, the variations from the original song perfectly. In the higher octaves, I must say your voice is much more ’taiyyaar’than Kavitaji(I mean it). The tonal quality never shakes!!
