Excellent rendition Mohan. Ugran expressions. Slight mistakes in the swarams and words in the end, but thats okay. Very good attempt on such a tough song.

Good attempt for a tough song. I enjoyed the first portion of the song better. The beginning was really capturing. Felt a little off notes towards the end.

Beginning was superb. Usually to start a song well is a bit difficult. But some “Aaa….” you try to sing it with ease…but seems so lazy and out of focus. Then starting “Ramkatha” was not good….i felt that the continuation of “Hey Ramaaaaaaa” should have been more confident and loud….i mean increase the voice as u go up.

Overall you sang well. I love this song very much. Please forgive me if my comments are not apt. As you have more classical experience than me.

Mohan ji. Very good attempt. Would have been better if you regularly practice:) And regarding the swarams, it was a mistake by K.J.Y which was left as it is as he had sung it in one take at 2 A.M !! Since he had perfectly conveyed the mood of the song it was left undisturbed. When I sang with him for a program at a Raveendran night some years back, I asked him the same question and he admitted that he had indeed made a mistake and explained why this was kept as such.

Excellent rendition Mohan. It comes through well that you know what you are doing and what you are capable of. Very good voice quality … may be not cooperating in a few places. I think with your classical background you can hone it further as you seem to have the necessary knowledge.

The feel of the song was there and it was a treat to the ears. A few weak spots that are covered up by your overall voice quality, especially your free floating bass voice. Great achievement for rendering a tough one!.

Excellent attempt Mohanji !!

The 1st pallavi didn’t reach up to the quality of the initial humming. Besides there are little imperfection here and there in the song. But for such a tough song any such flaws could be written off.
