A good and valiant attempt Anbu, to be commended. Your diction was good I thought.

Your voice was bright and rendered nicely in most parts. However, I have to say that the rendition was a bit straight; I have the CD of this album and the Maestro’s singing has a lot more nuances in a smooth articulation of the phrases. It is a bit unfair to compare only but from the point of view of your betterment, I would say that some articulation was missing in the singing … was rather plain for me. Also in some places your pitching was off I thought.

Anyways a very good effort and hats off for the dedicated singing. My advice is try to modulate your voice more to bring out more nuances.

Best of luck and once again a very commendable effort.

Only a few people on earth are blessed to hop over all the transitory hurdles and get anywhere closer to the bench-mark set by established and God-sent souls… You are one such soul and I could very well comprehend it from the sanctity I feel this very moment listening to this… Absolute divinity weaved by your voice and I feel something odd running through my bio system… Aorta is trying its best to resist the abnormal relative velocity with which blood gushes to my heart now… This is what I could, in transcribing my feel and thoughts… I am sure I have not inked what I felt actually…. So many reasons contribute to this…

1. Firstly, as a die-hard fan of IR, I should have asked you to cover any of IR’s non-cine songs… To my surprise, this came as a stunner… I really feel ashamed for having forgotten this song… :) Smiles!!!

2. Secondly, the confidence with which you have sung this did strike a chord in me… Bows!!!

3. Thirdly, could feel the love, dedication and commitment towards God through this simple yet celestial singing… It was all that fragrance one would smell/feel in any shrine of a temple… I mean, it was giving the odor of divinity… Hugs!!!

Innum niraya ezhuthanum poala irukku… but am at loss of words… You have inspired me through this work… Athu ennannu off-line solraen… :))

you have given the exact same version i shud say….I liked every aspect of this upload – the clarity of singing, feel, the melancholy in your voice throughout, ur tamil ucharippu, the mixing….everytime i hear this or pollavinayen i will be left with slight tears at the end of the song, i had it even this time……no other post here n muziboo has moved me like this(no offense to other singers)
