Hello again…
November 7, the day a legend artist was born and none other than “Kamal Hassan”. A multi talented man as an actor, writer, lyricist, singer and a director too. What not? He celebrates his 58th birthday today. I, being a fan of him wanted to dedicate a song to him in Muziboo for this occasion. Already, received a song (suspense…!) from Aditi & Jay for mixing and that prompted me to find a song.
Today being Bakrid had a heavy breakfast and looking to digest what I ate in order to get ready for my lunch (a spicy chicken biriyani). My digestive system hardly worked though. So, thought of picking this song which would burn my calories without any exercise. And by the time, I finished the song; I was feeling hungry to swallow my favorite Biriyani.
This song reaches unbelievable high that will test your vocal range. By listening, you will come to know. This song is sung by Hamal Hassan himself and it was mentioned by Dr.KJY, that he was surprised and astonished with his vocal range particularly in this song. And this is a favorite for his daughter Sruthi Hassan also. With that short intro, here goes my take of this song.
Again, I am nowhere close to the original song. but just wanted to try something new without IR’s voice, testing my vocal range and getting my appetite back. Please bear with the shortcomings, sit back, relax and enjoy the peppy song in your headphones. Do give me your valuable comments, feedback, suggestions and encourage as usual as you always have been.
BTW, Tollywood & Kollywood actor “Anushka Shetty” also celebrates her B’day today ( updated by Rajkumar Anjan, Hmm…namakku ellam enga theriyuthu !) HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANUSHKA SHETTY !!

Although in the Pallavi, the harmony was bit different, the repeat of the same did not go well with me…. But this was simply forgotten when reaching Charanam….

Another favorite of mine. Though I like 4 other songs of Kamal better than this one (“Peigala Nambadhe”, “Naan Ganga Nadhiyai” from Mahanadhi, “Kokkarakko Kozhi” from Kalaignan, “Sundari Neeyum” from Michael Madana Kamarajan), this is on top of every other song that Kamal sung.
Amazing scale and pitch you are able to go to – yes, if rendering this song didn’t digest the briyani, nothing would for the next two days :-) (I have no practical experience as I am a vegetarian).
I couldn’t believe that you pulled it off – if I tried it I would have damaged my vocal chords permanently :-)

Ha…Ha…Chandra…I think I tried this song next to Unakkena Iruppen….to test my range and vocal chords….Would never try again…As a big Kamal fan, this song was dedicated to him on his birthday and the idea came all of a sudden and completed quickly…
