Hearing you for the first time; I have heard Pavals many times in Paltalk tamil music rooms in years gone by!. She is a good singer!.

Coming to this song, you have a really good voice and I got fooled for a second whether it was the original Ilayaraja or Gangai’s voice!. Your voice is quite close to their style and timbre. This song is really a good melody and for the most part both of you did well. However I have to tell you that your pitch is not perfect and you would need to practice more to render in a steady pitch … just my humble observation. Pavals did a good job, but even her singing had some pitch issues.

It sounded like you needed to improve your recording and mixing skills a bit more and this could have also contributed to your singing not being perfect bcos of distractions in recording.

Anyhow, a great selection and very nice attempt. Keep it up and was impressed with your bright voice that has a lot of promise. Best wishes to Pavals.
