Hello Fellow Muzibians,
Being my dear IR Ayya’s Birthday, desperately wanted to dedicate a song for him on the very same day. Unfortunately, a lot of hurdles….first thing my laptop crashed and the second I bought a new M-Audio Fast Track Pro from Dubai through my friend and wanted to test my new recording gear. Nothing worked for quite some time….finally managed to get them all right. So, thinking which song I would do for my beloved meestro… First choice was Rajathi Raja song from Agni Natchatram and it turned out to be a tough one. So, decided to do a latest one from this film “Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai”….When I heard this song, first time…was totally taken by surprise the great man’s dedication even today to bring out the feel, expressions and voice totally modulated to suit the situation and cast of the hero in this movie. When I started working on this, seemed to be tougher than my first choice.
I totally enjoyed singing this song and have tried to bring out as much as I can from the original. Also, totally satisfied with my recording gear. I assure, you will listen to a totally different cover from my earlier ones.

Have not heard this song Anbu … I heard it on youtube as a matter of interest after seeing your post. Even IR has changed his voice in this a lot to suit the character I suppose.
Your rendition had enthusiasm but for me it was hard to place it. I felt that the sur did not meet the good expression that you were trying to give. Felt like you needed more practice in this number in my humble opinion.
Nevertheless was something different showing that you are daring in your singing and that is good to hear. Keep it up.
