Being a fan of both of you (Infact Hamsa’s covers were the first impression based on which I have spent time to record my covers and the same applies to Anbu’s cover as well), it is stupendous to hear one of my favorite songs……

What a song pick!!! An immortal classic of IR…will not get fed up any number of times one listens…I remember watching the video of this song those days innumerable times, just to watch the clip of SPB with his headphones singing the first few lines of the pallavi….

Anbu – Great attempt at a non IR number…the alaaps in the charanams were really good…

Hamsa – Energetic singing….

ANNov!!! Kalakkal pick… As said earlier, this movie has set a benchmark in the tamil cine industry by marking Kamal Hassan’s 100th run and this particular song, though having an amalgamation of divine voices(SPB/TVG/SJ) did come as a jinx in bombing the rapport shared between IR and Vairamuthu, depriving us all of the chances to listen to some exceptional compositions involving these 2 maestros… And this gave a heavy blow to the Hassan brothers commercially as they were the producers of this movie… Can’t ever forget ‘Niththilam’… :-) Enough is enough… Niruththikkaraen… :P

Annov!!! A very good song to sneak out and break the ‘IR -clone’ impression… You carried the song very well… But having enjoyed your emotive covers of the past, I was left wanting that expression as the video of this song depicts… I mean, a visually challenged person brimming in love, seeing his lady-love’s face in every rain droplet… :-) UngaLukku naan solla enna irukku?? Konjam mosquito repellent coil ah suththi paarththu flashback poye paarunga… :P Appo vanthu vizhum antha lovely expressions… Apparam antha cameo aalaap – Gurubakthi ah kaamikka IR use panninathu… Romba kashtam antha aLavukku aRputhamaa paadarathukku… Enna lyrics!!!!! I bet, no other lyricist would be able to entangle his thoughts and usage of words as this… Wish they both unite together and bless us all again musically… :-)

Hamsa!!! As always you have sung effortlessly creaming the expressions as and where needed… But this time, your vocals are brighter and projected your strength to the fore… Please do keep collaborating and treat us well… :-) Last line was absolute stunner… Great going here…

An even more refreshing opening – SPB’s and your own voice.Very beautiful pick and all of us relish for many a reasons.Beautifully sung anna and the expression at 2:26 to 2:33…at places I felt Kamal’s voice in there and then not to forget the marathon execution a big breath and rolling of words…wow and total synch with Hamsa Rishi’s beautiful rendition. Claps anna…

Hamsa Rishi ji, beautiful sung nice expressions very subtle ones fantastic. Do colloborate more with such talented singers often.

And one other reason for this wonderful is Madhavi what a pair -Kamal and Madhavi it was a like a signature thos days !!!

Anbu and Hamsapriya – First of all its not an easy song to sing and both of you have rendered it very well. I liked your rendition.
Anbu, glad to hear you try different genre of songs. You’ve sung it very well. It was nice to hear you sing the lyrics and then the AlAp right after it. You could have spent a little bit more time to perfect the AlAp and add little bit more feel to this song. But, those are nitpicks and I thoroughly enjoyed this cover.

Hamsa, very well sung. You’re able to sing different genre of songs with ease and its not all that easy. Great singing and keep it up. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for posting so many karaoke tracks for male singers, which I’ve used a lot.
