“Metaphor Madness” was founded by Bart “Madizm” Verheijen in 1998 as Record Label for various artists. The production and recordings of tracks for various genres was the main priority.
After about a year “Madizm” started expanding styles and interests. Slowly but surely more alternative music styles got involved in the projects of “Metaphor Madness” and other artforms such as graffiti, paintings and poetry became more important aswell.
Nowadays “MM” is a one man organisation for art exhibitions and workshops / courses and music productions, active in the south of the Netherlands.
Also the music productions have expanded. “MM” nowadays produces metal, rock / alternative / progressive, doom, postrock, hip-hop, industrial, triphop, drum and bass and much more.
