the thing i love about metal is its “fuck subtlety” attitude. unlike other forms of music, where the artist would probably say something like “i feel like screaming” in an airy, philosophical, fancy english way.. with metal you just scream. metal is about the passion.. not about making money or becoming famous. its just the love for music and the outlet for the emotions too strong to leave alone within you.
Im said to have an absolutely narrow minded view of music. This comes from people who havent even tried listening to metal or trying to understand what its about while ive given pop a shot….
