About JD
I am a Composer, Singer, Programmer and Audio Engineer. Music has been my main calling although I am an MBA by acedemic training and have worked as a banker for a couple of years.
I compose when I am surrounded by the chaos of daily life…the deafening babel of traffic on the road, the clatter and jangle of children palying, the predictability of a humdrum existance…they help me isolate and come into my own.
I have been greatly moved by the works of many great people who have left their mark on the very craft of composing music. Not one to idolise anybody, i can say that my music has multifarious influences ranging from Tamil folk to Western Classical.

Musical Instruments
The core of my music making is my Workstation which is an Intel based core 2 duo PC with 2GB’s of RAM ….I sequence on Steinberg Nuendo, use tonnes of VSTi’s both synth based and sampler based.
I use a M-Audio Firewire 410 Audio Interface and a Triton Le Synthesizer Workstation which i use as a MIDI controller as well as for its in built sounds.
I monitor my recordings and mix my sessions on YAMAHA MSP -5 monitor speakers which form an integral part of my setup.
