Awesome work!

Meera: Wonderful singing. The high notes sounded esp. good. Pronounciation was fine too. The “kh” in khwaab and khayaalo were total urdu style.

Good singing guys… Meera, I think the hindi sounded better than earlier covers like phir dekhiye. I also liked the fact that you sang this in a less controlled fashion and hit all the high notes quite comfortably. Pradip complemented you very well. I agree with Azam about the mix though. This is a little overprocessed.

Lovely song one of my favourites. I used to play this repeatedly in my car travelling to work and had requested Sudhatee to cover this long time ago. I like the song for its melodious tune in the mukhda, dont like the anthra too much and also for the alaap.

Meera ….you sang it beautifully, almost flawless…improvement wise I thought more melonchaly in tu muskura:-) Initially when you started …the tone had a happier feel to it:-)just my 2 cents…

Pradip ….fantastic ….the alaaps were mindblowing.

Amazing! Your voice just flows smoothly through the complicated chord progressions…. The mixing has spoiled the natural texture of your voice. It’s not about going high on the high-frequencies…. It is something else…. I cannot think it off the top of my head.

Azam, Ali, Balu, George- agree very much on the mix. Have modified it. Azam Bhai, due to the extra loud rhythm and extra piano chords which are a wee bit out of sync in the k-trk the voice trk feels a wee bit strange in the sargam part. Have tried hard to make the flow as ok as best i can. Do make a second listen. Meera has re-uploaded it.

Pretty well sung Meera! Great voice and beautiful execution, however, at certain places, your tempo slowed down more than necessary. Pradeep was at his usual best, except that in the line ‘Tu Muskuraa Jahaan….’, each time the ‘tu-u muskuraa’ sounded as ‘tu-hu muskuraa’. Very minor observation, but his ending alaap was just about perfect! 5/5 for this package guys, any time!

what is the point in criticising on accent ya…i dont her hindi is that bad.wht a big deal even if there s a problem in hindi….??? Professional singers like sadhana and udit or any hindi singer sings with perfect accent when they sing in other language…? thn you guys expect us to sing perfect hindi…?? wht lata mangeshkar singing perfect hindi… i can point out her marathi accent in many Hindi songs…

I dont knw Mr. Nambhiyar is the serious fan or follower of Lataji.if so he must know the controversies taken place in the begining of her career.she could not able to manage singing with out her marathi accent.Dilipkumar strongly objected for it than she went for special urdu and hindi classes to correct her accent.its a history.Being as a fan of lataji, Nambhyar must know this.but he is not.let me use the same word now…Ridiculous indeed !!!!!
