Beaaauuutifully sung! Loved all the classical touches u gave to the song. Thought it blended very well. Your diction is almost close to perfection this time. The only thing I noticed that in the pallavi, it should be “Bheege Bheege sapnon KA jaise khat hai”.

Hearing this back to back after Vidyu’s version :) Lovely job as always. Diction pointers: bHeegi bHeegi (stress on the ‘h’ – mahaprana), same with tujHko and other such words.

AWESOME Meera! ppl can learn a lot frm singers like u… The diction sounded perfect to me, I think everyone has a different style of singing, and it doesnt have to sound xactly like the original!!

Meera, liked your voice texture in this song. Except for the few places where your voice was off pitch and sharper at 1.41 and 2.40 and for the pronunciation issues it has come out very nicely. Esp the feel :)

Nice modulations and voice control…very different from your usual choice of songs, and you have sung it beautifully…

The sangathis have a light carnatic influence, but sounded good!

Very pro stuff. And yeah, I didn’t notice much diction issues here.
This song is in such a low scale, and husky voice, not really easy for everyone to attempt this. But you have done a fab job on it, modulations are awesome!

Very apt choice of song for your voice. Its “Bheegi Bheegi” not Beegi Beegi…. Harkaths were awesome, your improvisations were very good too…. Keep an eye on your diction, it needs little more polish, other than those small things this rendition is top notch.

Very beautifully rendered.

But I must admit I smiled when I heard “soche dil ke” – the only place where I heard a strong thyaagaraja krithi effect. Of course tother places like silwate have slight carnatic touches but overall the song sounded great with a lot of micro brighas very crisply rendered.

Your base voice lifts the song and the spirits.

Beautiful Meera! I liked your modulated husky voice. Also loved the carnatic influences here and there. I am not qualified enough to comment on the diction issues though. I felt the vocals volume was a little low, not sure though!
