Nice work guys. The original had left a very very deep and beautiful impression on my mind. A wonderful composition by ARR.
After listening to the version i can now see how difficult it can be to sing this cover and how much work must have gone into making this.

Nice pick Meera!!! IMO, the most difficult song to emulate the expressions, of recent days and this cover sounded different in your voice… Wish you had toned down your voice a tad softer… :-) Nevertheless, a stalwart effort…

Wishing George a very happy birthday. Thank you Meera for entrusting this job to me. Folks, this mix is fully “as Meera wanted it”. I personally am not satisfied with the k-track as it did not have right bass and the rhythm sounds very elementary, and hence lacks kick. The bass track in it sounds weird! Mixing is not just putting the vocals in its place and adding effects as we all k-singers on Muziboo do. You will know that when you mix a track of 20-40 tracks of instruments :)
Meera and Unni have done a superb job and have given all the feel the song requires from the bottom of their heart!

Meera, Sounds awesome ! you were simply superb in the charanams. could ve been a tad softer during the transitions from the charanams to pallavi and a few places. Loved your expressions, the breathing out in Manipayaaa, finish to the song, charanams la sustains were just very nice.

The first chord sounds different to me though. The chord voicing I hear in the original (in this scale) is a F dim 7 with a C# in the left hand.
