Good one Meera.Just felt it needed a little more of those nuances that the song demands.
Some sangathis were well rendered.Some of the landing notes dint hit correctly.Also it was dragging in pallavi.Nonetheless,nice cover :).

in all ur uploads, i love the clarity of ur voice….something which i want to learn from u whenever u have some time. loved ur carnatic inclusions which sounded pretty apt for this song. some of the sangathis were remarkable.

negatives — just one….except for 4:09 “penmai oomai aanal nannam….” which was very nice, i felt that the feel of the song wasnt a 100% like ur other renditions. specially after reading ur write up “words arent always……”, i expected a lot more emotion to this song.

The message carried by this particular song also contributes to the reasons for this awesome number top the list of immortal songs, IMO….

Meera!!! Awesome pick. If I am given a chance to cordon your renditions, I would comprehensively and easily take this cover to the top. My sincere thanks for covering this number and I wish to listen to as many covers of this number by my fellow pals here. About this song, I would like to share what I have consumed. As you have pointed out, Balram’s version is liked by most of us all. IMHO, Vidyasagar has proved his genius by using Balram’s voice as to actualize the fact that love doesnt need words to be showered on someone and Sujatha’s voice to substantiate that an ineloquent can easily express love through the divine silence and that a heart influenced by love would never mind the deprivations or limitations. Though the messages that both the versions connect-to are same, the style adapted by the singers distinguish them. Balram would have sung this with a calm and soft tint while Sujatha had sung with an effervescing colour. Just thought of sharing and had Sujatha’s version been included in the movie somewhere but not towards the climax, it would have been liked equally by all.

About this rendition, First round of my thunderous applause for the song pick. It shows your level of confidence which is astonishing. As we all know that you are one of the most-admired voices here, your song picks to prove your mettle is really captivating and the perfection that you deliver is intangible and am trying my best to reach that level. Allegra, Vaseegara & now Kaatrin Mozhi – so what next? You have adapted Balram’s subtle brihas very well. I personally feel those brihas could have been softer to emote that mood an ounce more than this. In pallavi, ‘Poovin mozhi…’ & ‘Niramaa’ – konjam crisp ah irunthirunthaa nallaa irunthirukkum as I am sure of your capability and calibre. And the nitpick is this – Oasai thoongum jaamaththil uchchimeengal and not kuchchimeengal. ;-) Otherwise a beautiful rendition and perfection personified. When Titans team-up, would there be anything missed out??? Meera and George – the best tag team IMO have won yet another time luxuriously… All the best….

P.S: You are blessed with a tone which doesnt resemble any of the established voices and so dont limit ur presence only to Muziboo. Do give serious attempts at pro-level singing. Have been telling this to you and again harping the same. :-)

Meera … easily the best song I have heard from you. The flow was very good and the texture of your voice was too good in this … in my opinion a great improvement in your voice and delivery in this one. The true content of your voice has come out in this very subtle song which is not easy to sing. Very well done and the best cover I have heard of this song by far.

Hey … regarding the excess brisk brigas it was nice to hear but probably does not suit the mood of the song … you could have justifiably employed slower variations. Some variations of yours were really really good I must say. Hmmm and … please make the track joins undetectable as it was apparent in some places that the vocal was cutting in from another track.

Great great job and I think this is easily the best of your songs, to my reckoning.

All the best for more to come … your voice now sits squarely in the platform of melodic sweetness, so choose your songs accordingly. Cheers.

Any song based in kalyani with a slight semi-classical touch composed in low to medium notes usually is a soother in your voice. Excellent rendition. For a nitpick, when it started, it felt a bit on the sad side as opposed ot the bright singing of Sujata. But I guess the male version sounds slightly sad.
