This marks my 2nd original on Muziboo, and my first original work in Hindi. Thanks you Kitcha for the oppurtunity!

Working with Kitcha was a lot of fun, and really stress free in a lot of respects! However that said, the mixing was a major tug of war between us, since we both seemed to agree on totally different things :-) Thanks for being very open to my ideas Kitcha, and needless to say it was a pleasure working with you, and here’s looking forward to many more of your originals. Congratulations to you on your 50th upload as well :)

Vishwa Deepak has penned the lyrics for this one and I really liked the way the lyrics sounded, although I couldn’t have appreciated it without the explanation. Appreciate your patient nitpicking of my draft, and ofcourse the rather static laden looping back and forth google voice chat clarification :)

Lyrics with the meaning:

hiranoN-sa alhad mausam, (Weather, which is as playful as deers)
makhmal pe utare chham-chham, (comes down on the land full of velvet/silk by making “chham-chham” sound) (I have compared snow/ice with velvet/silk)
barfaani faahoN mein phir phoole-phale. (and in the snow only, it lives and excels) (In these three lines, I am describing a hill-station)

chidiyon-sa mera man bhi, (In this weather, even my heart does not remain in control and becomes a bird)
tir-tir ke ambar tak ki (It flies/swims in the sky)
barfaani raahoN mein kuchh chunta chale. (Since, snowfall is happening, so even sky is full of snow…… My heart is searching for something on the way to sky.)

raahoN faahoN mein jo hai, (what is there in the snow on the land OR the way to sky?)
kya hai dil ke siwaa? (Is it something other than heart?… I don’t think so.) (I have tried to say that even the snow OR the path OR broadly speaking any non-living thing has a heart.)
dhadke fadke hai har pal (A heart, which beats every second)
chaahat ki banke duaa… (which prays for love)

halki fulki (light in weight)
nabh se Dhulki (rolled over from sky)
thandhi thandhi gili chandani mein… (very much cold and wet is this moonlight………. and in this moonlight)

tujhko sochoon (I think of you)
tujhko khojoon (I search for you)
bahkoon dahkoon tadpoon baawli main… (I crave for your love like a fish out of water, like a mad……. Ohh… I am madly in love with you)

ujle ujle (white)
patton par jab din barse (white leaves…… on which when the day rains/drops/arrives) (leaves are white …. because of snow)
uljhi suljhi (branches of the tree which are intermingled into each other)
shaakhon ke tab man hulse (become happy with that very first sign of day.)
chupke chupke (at that time only… silently… without saying any word
aise mein ek dil tarse (there lies one heart…. which waits for some one)
rab hi samjhe (only god knows)
tujh bin kitnaa man jhulse. (how much my heart burns without you)

tabhi gar jaanam, (If then…. o my life!)
tu aake (you come)
mil jaaye… (and meet me)
usi pal poonam (I am sure…. in the sky)
bal khaake (the full moon)
khil jaaye… (will grow…… means it will be POORNIMA…. that night)
usi pal neelam (at that moment… )
se dharti (earth will be woven with)
sil jaaye… (sapphire…. ) (sapphire is a stone…… NEELAM is also known as NEEL-MANI)
usi pal lamsam (almost at that time only)
ye meraa (my heart)
dil jaaye… (will fly from my chest and will be yours)

mudke dekhoon (sometimes I turn and see)
aati jaati aahat teri lage… (every sound of feet approaching and going sounds like yours)

kuhre ka ghar (It seems like there is a house made of fog)
bas do pag par (which is just two steps away from me)
jheeni jheeni chaukhat teri lage… (that transparent house and its doors……. all are yours)

mere o hamdam (o my sweetheart!
ye saari (this all
rut poochhe (season/weather asks me)
bheengi ye shabnam (even this wet dew
raaton ko (wakes up in the night
uTh poochhe (and asks me just this question)
kaisaa tu jaalim (how cruel you are

Naan fav pannalanna yaar panradhu lol. Seriously, great singing Meera. It doesn’t sound like a first time hindi song for you, but well, i’m no man to comment that :). Mixing might have been the tug of war but seriously, loved your committment towards getting it right, which is a great trait to have :).

Vishwa, i’ve not enjoyed the hindi lyrics so much before coz I wasn’t sure of the meaning but your lyrics made sense to the whole composition man.

I would like to congratulate and thank Meera for trying this Hindi song. I know that there is no “h” in Tamil (Tamizh), so it becomes hard to sing a hindi song full of “h” sound for a non-Hindi singer. Meera has worked hard on this song to get the diction as correct as possible.

As far as lyrics is concerned, I would thank Kitcha for this. I want to admit that while writing this hindi version , I took help from Kitcha’s tamil lyrics. Since, Kitcha had sent me Tamil lyrics with meaning, I didn’t need to actually listen to the tune to write this song. I just followed the pattern as it was there in Tamil one.

Finally, I would thank each and every friend of mine on Muziboo for loving my words and encouraging me.
