Very good selection and singing meera. This film ‘Azhage unnai Aaradhikkiren’ was a comeback vehicle for the hit maker Sridhar and he did with help of Ilayaraja who was creating waves at that time with diff type of music. The arrangement by raja is too good and he did this beautiful composition with Vanijayaram a rare combination as Ilayaraja’s favourite singer is SJanaki.

awesome rendition Meera……absolutely loved the high notes in the charanam……I think the pallavi needs to be brighter with kinda happy expressions and the charanams are spot on with the melancholic feel…

The track was not very great though,midish at places.

Hmmm. singing is just okay. I won’t say it is brilliant singing. You have to go long way to reach vanijayaram’s level of singing. also please try to improve your pronounciation. There’re lot of places which is out of pitch. don’t try to listen in sophisticated speakers. after you mix try to listen with bass and much effects then you can identify these mistakes. I don’t know how many singers will be singing without these mistakes had there not been the digital recording facility’s not there. Also regarding expressions, some places it is good and some other it’s not upto the mark. You shouldn’t loose the focus and concentratin while singing.

I advise you to redo this as this is not a great work by you. Try to rectify the mistakes always and don’t get carried away by good comments.

Very nicely done Meera! In your last two songs somehow feel there is a difference in your voice, new effects may be? This one seems sharper. For this song maybe the effect could have been softer? Don’t know if I am making sense ;)

Very good and nice voice.

Actually i heard the song first on my computer speaker and it still sounded very nice.

Higher pitches in the stanzas sound a bit strained. Strength of the song wavers in a few places.

Yes undoubtedly IRs gems….those experimental and risk taking days of ilayaraja has brought us fantastic gems to us……he stopped experimenting and got out of freshness lost his place eventually.

WOnderfull meera your rendition is nice ,recording is nice eq is nice ….innocence in tone is nice….i heared some variations from the originals that is nice too.

I remember this song since the days of vivithabarathyin varthaga oliparappu days on radios after 9:00 pm I am only 4 years old then but still freash in my head.

First thing first,hats of to you to be a fan of a legend about whom not many know in depth,Your voice is amazing you have got the required quality for the kind of songs that you try out.I am a great fan and a critic also,hope you dont mind if i say somethings that I feel,and if that does not hurt you.
Just one thing is that you need work out the inside notes of your singing,sometimes that does not get pronounced clearly(Im not commenting please dont get me wrong),it is just my thought,sorry if I am wrong,If you work out that minute things in getting those notes pronounced perfectly and make it audible then you are there.
Your feel is superb and your voice has that glory to human ears.
good going and best wishes,I feel that you should sing for some of my Karoke’s of Raja.Nothing to hurt about your tracks.no complaints about that,Felt your voice would suit more with a some original feel of instruments.
