I was waiting for “……pani thuli” where the “thuli” reaches for the higher notes for a modulation … would have been nice if you had done that too!. Noted your takes after the beat on some lines and that little laugh too.

Hey Meera … I listened to the original and I couldn’t hear that riff that I had in mind either!. Must be my imagination I guess after hearing a few versions of this song on Muziboo. The embellishment I have running in my mind is the one that touches G and then goes to M and comes back for the “Thuli” word … whereas the normal one just touches G and comes back. Anyways, this is a nice song and sounds like Sindhu Bhairavi to me … pretty much using all notes!.

I say this is a brave effort on your part, you know why?

This is a tight rope walking kinda song and the only reason it didnt feel that way in the original is because it was sung by Bombay Jayshree.

Having said that you pulled it off.
