This is my favorite work of yours to date (among the ones I’ve heard). Beautifully sung and excellent expressions. The other thing that stuck out for me is that you managed to add originality to a classical number like this, which is really hard to do. Shows true class! Loved it all the way…

Beautiful. Meera. I have always loved this song, as it has a nice fusion flavor to classical singing.
You should try some of Morning Raaga songs.

I have tried to sing this one….but when it gets to Kadhari Manam Urigi……after that i get a singers block :-)

Hi Meera: Excellent singing as usual. Loved it!!
The only thing I felt was that there was too much reverb masking your natural voice. Other than that this was top notch.

Great work Meera…loved ur voice… Some points which i felt like telling…
When the rhythm began it was slightly not synching with ur voice ,later it happened from nilai peyaraadhu… what u have done is a great job, n doubt.

• Before the charanam when u ended the pallavi with alaap(thundupallavi?), it cud have ended with ‘sa’, I mean it wud have sounded completed then.
• I missed the second sangathi of ‘kanindha un venugAnam’.
• you cud have sustained a little more in ‘Idhu dharumam dhaano’.

Good track Murali. Rhythm started a little late compared to the original.May be u had some reasons for that

Beautifully sung Meera. All aspects were great. Why not renew this and re-record – it will sound awesome if clarity of your vocals could be improved.
The last stretch of humming had a Darbari Kaanada flavor – was nice.

Few major things i noted

1) 1.08 Ending at could have been better.
2) ‘Manathu vedanani’ towards the end… feel was was awesome…
3) 3:03 Slippage!

As its you singing, I expected more extraordinary twists/sangathis in the song. :-), This was ‘only’ nice & soothing! :o)

Nice singing Meera … it was very pleasing and soothing to hear and you have rendered the finer parts very well.

IMHO……You have good singing talent … try to throw that voice out more … ‘bhaavam’ is more important than ‘sangathis’ in my opinion.

No doubt I liked your rendition of this song. But I am certain that if you redid the same song now, it would be better on several counts. Your voice has matured over the 3 years, in my opinion, and your recent renditions have more bhava than your old ones. Also, I am sure you would be more mindful of those small slips (while ending the pallavi, finishing etc)now than 3 years ago. Will look forward to one of your latest (classical) numbers :)

Your voice sounded too thin – may be because microphone positioning was not right. Also your voice track did not blend well with the music track. Please try recording again.
