From what I understand from my THAMIZH speaking friends, my tamil is getting better…. so long as that trend continues, I am a happy camper :)

It seems like HJ has this clever way of making “new” songs out of Rehman’s old songs. This is the second instance I am hearing something to that effect. The first was his “gulmohar malarE” which rehashed “pachchai niramE”. This time he has managed to remix “endrendrum punnagai” including the last scale change.

Good performance by you guys. Meera – although not your fault due to the need to squeenze syllables in original, "vaadaik kaatru sounded more like “vadaik kaatru”. And you are generally good in songs which have gibberish words (like Omaha zeeya). I guess talking to Ayush is helping that cause further :)

Meera, you were too gud, you are awesome in adapting ur voice to any song. But if u notice, u sang vaadai katril and next corres line different from the original and am surprised nobody pointed it. was it intentional? Anyways am sure this song was a pleasant surprise to everyone here.

Decided not to comment as in my view this one is not a very high class composition …this song to me sounds more a like a very long ad jingle with very liberal lifts from everywhere!!!however some thing pulls all the time here :)

On your rendition …It is top class with Georges’ diction improving by leaps and bounds……Meera – I loved the lil nasal adaptation in your voice….another ‘best’ tamil cover from George’s stable! after kadhaliikkum pennin……and a good contrast for meera after Raina…….

George, Awesome singing, little diction issues but from what i hear from ppl you seem to be improving ! thats good signs. The pitch changing portion was great and loved th nuances. Very well done.
