Welcome to Luz Learning, a new MAMA LUZ project!
MAMA LUZ is a singer/songwriter and an 8th grade Spanish teacher…. and she is committed to bringing her two passions together in a way that no one has seen before!
In 2009, MAMA LUZ is releasing her interactive DVD series: Luz Learning! which includes basic Spanish vocabulary lessons using music videos and rap songs, written and performed by MAMA LUZ and her students.
Each music album is a double disc album: one, specifically directed towards learning the language; and another, a collection of the final songs to enjoy.
There will be a package deal, especially for teachers and school districts, including online access to new lesson plans, interactive games and a teacher networking community.
As Luz Learning develops, MAMA LUZ will take on other adventures. Some of these will include programs for elementary school children, with coloring books and other fun additions; programs involving other performing arts, like video-dance; and an interactive e-magazine.
