Harish Ji, starting alaap could be better. A few pitching issues there. Other than that small dip, the whole song was rendered exceptionally well.

friends, thanks a lot for the rousing response :) a shammi kapoor tribute coming late, but better late than never, for I am a die-hard fan of Shammi ji too!

was a great experience to work one of the leading singers of our forum. You are all aware of her ‘honey-dripping’ voice, but many might not be aware of Latha’s exceptional ear to nuances, which i realised when she gave me specific feedback on my singing. Her gentle pushes and prods helped me complete this project ahead of others :)

i thought this is one of her best outputs, and the antara has come out flawlessly with all the murkhiyas. Credit also to Latha for getting this mixed professionally. I think the mixing has taken the song to a new level, and though I agree with Harshan about the vocals being a bit forward, I personally have no complaints with that esp since the vocals have come out well.

Wah……….kya baat hai! Nice, crisp rendition. Latha, voice modulation (bringing the slight huskiness, to simulate AshaJi’s voice), phenomenal job. Nice murkhiyan (“Kisko sunaate nahin-n-n”, “Seekha kahaan se”, etc.). Girish, loved your voice, nice and clean. Highs were great, alaap was fabulous.
