Indha maadhiri oru concept of composition MSV kodurhadhukkae avar kaala vizalaam. I was just listening and I know the
lyrics byheart even after hearing this song after so many yrs. It’s in the blood.

Both of you have rocked. I was running through the visuals ok Kamal & Sridevi. What a made for each other pair they were. Till date, no pair can ever beat their presence together. Hmmm too much nostalgia after listening to this song lol

kumaran – great effort. Andha SPB Kara kara touched worked out well. Eppadi, appadiya, come on say it once again kae full marks.

Sri – well you’ve a good voice for sridevi defly :). Your soft mellow voice was just fabulous. I just fell for the total outcome of the song. Splendid performance by both.

Here comes my graffiti after having had a plunge in this immortal masterpiece originally delivered by the titans of the trade and immaculately covered by the lessee of expressions and feel, Feelguru and the queen of sweet-talk, Kuyil… :-)

First and foremost, I ought to alter my posture and give a standing ovation for this awesome song pick… Whoever selected this – Kumaran anna or Srivi deserves a pat… This movie, ‘Varumayin Niram Sivappu’ stands out the best; magnum opus of all K.B’s creations till date IMHO… Very delicate subject to deal with but K.B has masterfully drafted the screen-play that the audience never tend to go lukewarm with the flow and even today, I feel I lack that fire which Kamal’s character inherits in that movie… All the songs will stay a treat forever…. I bet this will be liked by all when Nishanth grows up and covers this in the future… ‘Roudhram pazhagu’ – this is what I get struck with, whenever I watch this movie… :-) Hesitation to erupt and get irate is also a factor contributing to the failure of a man… I need to counteract this in-born attribute… Enough is enough trumpeting… ;-) The bottom-line is that K.B is a man of prophetic talent as he has foreseen many things and instated them in his movies… Whatever he has incorporated in his movies were criticized a lot with negative notions but now the entire world(tamizh speaking)is realizing his real talent which was occulted for years… And does the chemistry evolving between Kamal and Sridevi need a mention?? I opine that they were the best on-screen pair then… Unprecedented twists; undeniable messages; unforgettable songs; unassailable acting skills and non-compromising screen-play and direction make this movie a masterstroke…

Kumaran anna! :-) :-) :-) Definitely an unusual song pick… Had this itching myself to cover for a long time but the song is rescued that you have covered this with an intangible quality… I will not even dream of covering this… But I felt your portions could have been brighter… I mean this song carries an explicitly woven contrast between masculinity and femininity thru Shri SPB’s and Srimathi Janaki’s singing… Wish you brought out that ruggedness in your singing… Despite having an hibernation for such a looooooooooong time, you pulled this off well… Like long-waited Chandramukhi after 3 years’ hiatus from Superstar… A Grand success… Kudos!!!!

Srivi! Though your portions were of cameo’s pertaining to singing, you did an awesome job… The way you started ‘thaana’ I inferred this is reaching for stars and it did… :-) And think you have not come out of that ‘enna idhu’ effect… I could feel that u r still clouded with that huskiness covering ur voice towards the end… Nevertheless the end-product was ecstatic… I was told that u covered this in a hurry… :P Kalakku!!!! Expect more tamizh numbers from you… Give respite to hindi songs for a few days… Liked this sweetish effort….

As Raj mentioned first indha pattu yar select pannangalo avangalukku oru shottu. One of the best duets in the OIG season. I still cannot get out of the impact your voice have had on me :)

Agree with Adithi akka on Vidya’s dialogue portions could have been a little more expressive. Also andha last sirippu after Sabash came early. It should have been after ‘Konjum’. To favs for sure :)
