When I got the demo version of this song from Rishi, I loved it in the first listen, the techno & melody combination with very aptly written lyrics ! I must say Rishi has been very patient in the iterations done for this song for my vocals ! It took 3 iterations over email for my vocals to get finalized :)

@Harry, Thanks :) nothing is done in a studio …. oops sorry a professional studio, it was all done in our respective home studio setups :) I use “M Audio Music Producer”, and have no idea how professional it can be termed ! I bought it by trusting the tech expertise of the store guy :P but I am loving the quality it gives me ! I am more than happy !

Chaliye pahli baar kisi ne lyrics pe suggestions diye, nahi to mujhe lagne lagaa tha ki muziboo bas singers aur composers ke liye hai.

antara ke first do lines mein aapne jo changes bataaye wo bhi sahi hain… lekin aap agar sahi se padhenge to pata chalega ki wo chaaro lines questions hi hain…. aur ek line mein ek hi question hoga na…… Agar main likhta

hothon ko see loon ya kholoon, kis tarah….

to iska matlab hota ki “tum bataao ki agar main hothon ko khula rakhoo to kis tarah aur band rakhoo to bhi kis tarah”… Jisse meaning hi change ho jaata. Actually girl confused hai ki wo kya kare isliye man se poochh rahi hai ki “abhi main kya karoo…”. “Kis tarah karoo” wo to baad ki cheez hai.

Rahi baat last line ki jo actually hai

“bas kah de tu jo faisla”

aur jise aapne “bas kah de kya hai faisla” karne ka sujhaav diyaa…… Yahaan par dono lines fit baithte hain. kyunki maine actually “bas kah de tu jo hai faisla” likhaa tha, lekin tune ki paabandi ke kaaran singing time “hai” hataana pada.

Kuhoo ji…. you really glided through this like a silken thread…. Wow…. :)

Rishi…. Wonderful concept…. Liked the Techno feel….
Few Observations….

1. The start…. where the guitar & base chord starts…. the base could have broken in steps instead of jumping from one to the other…. eg , 1-2-3-4…. instead of jumping from 1-4….

2. Few things lacked the compactness…. there were floating over the mix….
The Techno voice was created very well…. but it has to sit in the mix….

3. Kuhoo ji’s vocals have a reverb with not the most apt settings i guess…. Its giving it a bathroom kind of effect….

4. Some sweet bell sounds would have very good for this song….

5. I cannot write what the sound is called….
But that goes on with the base…. like dan dan dan…. thats a synth typical…. thats needs some tweak…. :)
Bro don take me wrong…dats the last thing i want…. each n everything written with the best intensions…… :)
Thumbs up from me…. Hopefully we’ll get to hear a revised version soon…. keepn the favorite option till then…. :)

Super work made with all of you. Good to listen, good to re-listen. The rhythm are very good. The excelent vocal of female voice are very nice. The excess of sfx effect in male voice, need to think about put less sfx to understand better what is heard. Will sound better good. An observation, of a musician too. In average, a great job. Care with sfxs and reverbs. They can bright you work, but can take it down. Only a observation, for future makes.

Awesome piece of work!
I discovered this song only a few days back, and was busy with my own song release at that time so decided to come back at leisure and comment.
The best thing I liked in this song, apart from its pleasant feel, the brilliant use of the phrase ‘mann bata’ as a motif through the song and especially in the antara, very apt lyrics and the overall production values, is the delicate balance achieved between Kuhoo’s parts and Rishi’s parts. Both have contrasting feels, and compliment each other very well. Just when one when starts to get a little repetitive, the other kicks in and so it goes through the song.
Great team work – Rishi, Kuhoo and Vishwa Deepak! Goes to favs!

a word of caution, if I may, and a matter of opinion only: about the Vocoder…. use it sparingly and eloquently when conveying something profound… since it denudes the emotional effort put in by you – the singer… and trivializes your lyrical expression…
Overall a great effort…
