The full song will be released exclusively on 94.3 Radio One Mumbai station on 6th March 2011 between 3-4PM along with my interview! Mumbai junta, if possible, please do tune in.

Rishi and I teamed up for my first venture into song writing ! I have always been writing poems but this one is first as a song.

Rishi has given such a haunting piece of music to this one. Loved the composition and arrangement in my very first listen !!!! It lingers and haunts …. endlessly ! For me, this one is Rishi’s one of the best compositions so far ! And I am glad to have grabbed it for writing on it myself and singing.

Lyrics also contain some dialogues which will fit into the “Mehfil Mix” of this song. “Mehfil Mix” is a mix where the poet also recites his/her poetry in between the song. Since I am the poet here, I have tried to recite these lines.

us patte ko zaraa Daal se jhukaayaa tha | which slightly bowed the leaf from that branch
aur boondein anjaane hii dhalak kar ek ho gayi thin | and the dew drops unknowingly merged into each other
pahron pahar beet gaye us subah ke baad | ages have elapsed after that morning
us subah, us hawaa ne jaise mujhse naataa toD liya hai. | that morning, that air, seems to have broken that relationship with me
