Glad to be back here with a song a some gap. Been busy with work and travel.
Sudhathee and I have attempted this romantic melody from the Vikram-Asin starrer Majaa (2005). The song was originally sung by Madhu Balakrishnan and Sadhana Sargam. We decided to do this song nearly a year ago and then Sudhathee was out of action for a while. I am glad she is back posting songs again here on muziboo. She has done a great job here.
I love the beautiful melody and subtle nuances by Madhu Balakrishnan and Sadhana Sargam in this song and most of all Vidyasagar’s orchestration is fabulous. The song certainly deserves better lyrics in my opinion :-).

Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.
This song was one of my favourites from Vidyasagar. Undefiled singing by the singers for a heart-throbbing melody. This makes me to tread over to my past inundated with aggravating things and my subsequent remedy and relief being music – this song was one there piling in the queue. It helped me to overcome loneliness and helped me to become resilient.
Kumar bro! Bold delivery capturing all the subtle nuances. very expressive indeed. I envy u when u handle those lower registers with ease. :-) Expressive singing. At few places, I felt some tempo issues. But over all, a clean cover. Thanks for covering this composition of Vidyasagar. And its highly condemned that you leave us starved. Keep flooding ur space pls. All the best.
Sudhathee! he he he he. What to say? As you know, I like your hybrid tonal quality which is unique and special. The freshness it is attributed with, does the magic. Your singing in this particular rendition is like sweet-talking to someone. The mood and the expressions are spot-on. Whatelse needed for a cine-light song? And one suggestion from my end – Please keep practising and I know that u haven’t learnt music. Its God-gifted and please make use of it by singing for us atleast. All the best.

Kumar ….this is one of your best in terms of expressions and really loved the high registers and the variations….had a KJY flavour. Madhu Balakrishnan is a great singer, and if there can be anyone who can step into the shoes of KJY ….it could be Madhu….
Sudhathee …very nice expressive singing, though I personally would have liked some bass in your voice….higher registers have come out very well.
Overall a big thumbs up from me.
