Posting a beautiful melody from yesteryears. This is a soothing song from the movie Anand Ashram originally sung by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle. I believe there is also a Bengali version of this song. Music director is Shyamal Mitra and lyrics (which are awesome) were penned by Indeevar.
I have sung this with Srividya. She has done a fabulous job in this song.

Nice singing both of you……expressions were very good Kumar….Vidya i found your singing not to the standards usually set by you…u seemed hesitant with your throw and also with the amount of expressions needed for the song….Kumar i found parts of ur rendition not as soothing as the other parts. some parts were beautifully done :)…could maybe put your voice volume down a bit….sounded a bit loud to me ! overall good work but could have been better :) Keep singing :)

Kumar, Vidya – excellent song pick and great singing!
A few very minor aspects which caught my attention which can perfect the rendition-
Kumar, the "kaajal " in the first stanza – i sensed a minor offnote there.
Vidya – as usual great singing.At some places a felt a tinge of sadness in the expression.
Overall , a wonderful piece.

Nice one and well rendered. Sounded like “Tere Mere Milan Ki ye Rena” by Kishore and Lata. Similarly is scale I guess.
Very good track and nice voices both of you. Sounded v.good!.
Kumar’s voice had a higher volume than SriVidya’s in terms of balancing. Also felt SriVidya had the smoother rendition at hand, compared to Kumar.

Kumar, the ‘Dekhke teri soorat’ was beautifully done. Something so nice in what you brought to that line.
Srividya, it seemed like you took your time warming up to the song. Just my opinion, but you seemed to really get into the song only in the second antara.
Not that you were off elsewhere, but pardon my saying so, you sounded slightly mechanical until the second antara. Almost as if you suddenly got into the mood of the song from there onwards.
Can the two of you try an old Anil Biswas composition called ‘Seene mein sulagte hai armaan’ please?
