I really got a kick out of this song when I first heard it. A very creative song from the spoofy (is that a real word??) movie ‘Tamil Padam’ (2009). The lyrics is basically a conglomeration of the gibberish words from various tamil songs composed by ARR (Balellakka, Shakalakka etc.), Harris Jeyaraj (Oh Maha Zeeya, Randakka, Mehu Mehu etc.), Vijay Antony (Dilamo, Nakamukka etc.) and many others that I may not have heard.
The song features Sujatha’s daughter Swetha Mohan with Hariharan. Both of them have done a great job emoting lyrics that don’t mean any thing :-D. The composition is by a newcomer Kannan and I think he has done a fabulous job with this song. The tune is so haunting I found myself humming it a lot. So I needed to get it out of my system, hence this post :-). Thanks to Vishnu for sharing this K-track with Swetha’s vocals in place. I have covered Hariji’s vocals only.
No worries about diction issues in this one :-D.

Kumar bro!!! Pretty late here to subscribe things…. :-) Nice song pick…. Heard that Hariharan was very hesitant in rendering this at first but was persuaded to complete this…. Movie was an entertainer but have been compiled of scenes mimicking and spoofing some original movies…. As far as the movie professionals are concerned, this was an imposter completely demoralising the directors…

I had not paid any attention to this song when I heard on the media – thinking it was some ‘foreign’ song – like Nepali or something.
After reading your intro I realized it is cleverly woven with ‘gibberish’ words taken from different songs!!
I feel that these kind of songs are fairly ‘standard’ fare when they are dished out under the scope of film songs (my humble opinion as a layman), but rendered in Muziboo by friends these take a totally different dimension and I am really paying close attention and enjoying it much better than when sung by paid singers!!
