Naattuvazhiyorathe - Gadhama Lyrics & Chords
This is one of my most favorite songs from the recent Malayalam movie Gadhama (2011). Lyrics are by Rafeeq Ahmed and music is by the talented duo Bennet-Veetrag. Have been wanting to cover this for a while now but finally got around to it.
The album has a solo version by Chitra as well as a duet version by Chithra and Vijay Yesudas. Since the lyrics are fairly neutral, I have done a male cover based more on Chitra’s solo version. Obviously, it is difficult to bring in the same expressions in a male cover but have done my best.
