If rumours are to be believed, Kishore da did not give his 100%in this song as he had some issues with Big B. His natural throw was missing in this song, which you’ll find in all his playbacks for Amitabh.

Kumar….Even Rafisaab, Lataji, Suseelamma, Yesudasji, SPBji & many more acclaimed singers have had diction problems which have never been bothered about by millions of music lovers, since such minor issues used to get drowned in the awesome ocean of their versatile singing !
So it is my humble opinion that diction issues can be ignored as long as the basic meaning of lyrics is not affected !
Moreover, as noticed in many cases including that of my humble self, when you try to re-do a portion to rectify the diction issues in a later stage, the voice & feel/expressions would be a little bit different/lower than your original take/recording since we tend to concentrate more on the diction part !
So, your good self need not at all be worried about that !

Kumar, I wish Your voice gets more recognition around here, and, since we all know muziboo is not everything, in the real playback singing as well. Wonderful is not enough to speak about this. LataJi herself had struggled with that…. word many times, it is well known.

Lovely song nicely rendered by both of you…. Good expressive singing… Barring a few diction issues as mentioned above I liked the song in totality… And yes, I felt the harkat at the end of the first line in the antara (in both male and female) needs to be sung more quickly…You both were stretching it more than needed… Also you could hav added little more reverb in the mix for this song…
