Chentharmizhi - by Kumar Srinivasan and Rashmi Nair
Chentharmizhi - by Kumar Sr... Lyrics & Chords
This is a beautiful semi-classical composition from the Malayalam movie Perumazhakaalam. Written by Kaithapram and composed by M. Jayachandran, the original song was sung by Madhu Balakrishnan and K.S. Chithra. The song is based on the Carnatic raagam Sahaana with excellent orchestration.
This is my attempt at this song. I thank Rashmi Nair for singing this song with me. Thanks also due to fellow muzibian Mr.N.V.Krishnan for providing me with the track for this song.
This is my first song recorded and mixed using computer software. I look forward to your comments on the singing and recording aspects.

Beautifully sung guys! Loved it! Kumar, since you asked feedback on the recording, its not bad for ur first attempt. However you could reduce the reverb a little bit and also use the equalizer to sharpen ur tone a little. Its not a bad mix though.

Excellent job by both of you! Rashmi’s voice floats like silk. Kumar – you sounded a lot like Dasettan in this song(enjoyed it a lot!). The only comment I have is – a little bit of practice on those sangathis to make them smoother and clearer will do wonders. Expecting more songs from both of you.

I definetly can relate to this song, because i heard many versions of it from audio blogging, Srinivasan your voice is very silky, it floats well, like the mixing too, Rashmi is as usual at her best and I have to agree with others on her humming at the end it was pretty good.

Hi Kumar….
I really like this song…u both sung it beautifully. I felt there was timing issue in pallavi when kumar was singing?
Also, vocals were not so clear at some places…eg: oru vandaay njan mohichu.
