Badi Sooni Sooni - Mili
Badi Sooni Sooni - Mili Lyrics & Chords
Presenting an evergreen, pathos filled song by Kishore Kumar from the movie Mili. Music is d by the great S.D. Burman and lyrics penned by Yogesh.
Although Kishoreda was a versatile singer, I feel his best hits were songs brimming with pathos such as this, Zindagi ka safar, Zindagi ke safar mein, Chingaree etc.
Here is my attempt at this song. Looking forward to your valuable feedback.
I want to thank Srini for sharing this wonderful K-track and also reminding me to cover this :-).
-Kumar.

Kumar …love this song….very beautiful rendition at this difficult song….you created the mellow mood….and singing overall was very very good. If I have to nitpick it would be the starting zindagi…harkat could be better (felt a tad pitchy), also felt as if u were cutting the sustains a bit e.g dillegi….but this is just nitpicking….overall excellent…to my favs !

One of my favorites, well covered by you. The sustains as pointed by Harshan appeared to be the only hitch to me. You have beautifully executed the harkats your way. Overall liked listening to the song. To my favorites, of course!
Cheers!!

Spectacular, Kumar :-) !!
The KK da pathos you have listed in your intro are unbelievable evergreens…. Add to them:
- Ghunghroo ki tarah
- Koi Humdum Na Raha
- Apne Jivan ki Uljhan
Scores of other masterpieces….
I am sure you must have seen some of KK da’s live performance videos on YouTube.
The way he emotes while singing brings out the feelings and expressions from his heart and soul into the lyrics and singing.
Spectacular singing, again !!
Many thanks & kind regards,
Hemanth

Kumar, what a lovely pick. The best that stood out in your rendition was the mood that you captured. Good throw at the right spots too. If you can sustain the endings a bit longer , would sound even better, i thought.
