Wonderful Composition! I really applaud you for keeping it simple and not getting the instincts to make it according the current trends. The BGM and lyrics being subtle and simple adds to the beauty. Like Sufi songs these folk songs make the lyrics speak and set the mood. You have set the calm and soothing mood wonderfully.

I will not say that I am amazed in you singing this. I have always felt that you have had the courage to take up any song and you are not restricted to your comfort level. I loved this song in your voice and your singing was also good. I felt that the lower notes were a bit shaky. But the overall impact of the song was mindblowing.

I found the arrangement a bit too heavy for the mood(though I dont understand the language)and a we bit distracting at places.Despite a brilliant mix,still George’s voice sounded a bit drowned,due to this….to my ears……

George…….what can I say,except my personal preference is for your high register(which is awesome)……vis a vis your low register which is very good(!)

In my possible initiated view,this would have been a fab number in a lighter more vocal projected arrangement……my 2p worth(inr!)

but as always,thumbs up for the originality….

Very nice composition. Very soothing, indeed….

my only complaint is…. it needs a good amount of sound engineering work. Right now the mix is very muddy with many instruments fighting for the same bands/frequencies. One easy/lazy way to overcome that is to transpose certain instruments to different octaves ;). Another easy/lazy way is to play with the mastering before adding George’s vocals! I am sure, you know the toughest/robust way :)

Good one Vijay….very soulful tune, just the way expected from you. I also agree with the comments you received from Balamurali….and you are right when you said “some things come only with practice”. So keep it up.

Nice voice George….you have rendered it well. My honest comments about your vocals….some gamakas do sound a lil repetitive. There is immense scope and time in the song to play around with and I could imagine a lot of stuff in your voice that you held back. My suggestion….let your instincts guide you in giving expressions through modulations and I guess you can’t possibly go wrong in this particular song. Your voice and style is perfect for this song.

Nice find Vijay. You two can create the magic that you have been waiting for all this time. Looking forward to more from you both. Keep rocking.
