Its been a long time goal for me to perform this amazing composition of A.R.Rahman in the movie Thiruda Thiruda. The beauty of the song is just has vocals backed by excellent chorus. I’ve tried my max to replicate the original. I’ve performed with my wife seperately for the chorus section and have mixed it finally. The song was originally sung by Shahul hameed, who gave a fantastic folk feel to the song and the chorus was originally backed by Srinivas & Sujatha.

Being an ardent Rahman myself, I have always wanted to collaborate with someone to do this song but never got the chance.
Oh what a loss Shahul’s demise has been to us!!!
Your rendition was pleasant up until 1:47 where there was a scale change of the backing vocals. Then resumed normalcy with the refrain.
A few flat notes here and there but your voice is unique and suits this song so well :)

This is one of Shahul’s best and yes, his demise is a huge loss. He would have sung lots of songs under ARR’s music as they were good friends. Well, that’s the magic of music. Atleast we get to remember him from his songs.
