Hi Kitcha,

Let me start with the positives:) You have a beautiful voice and you song choice is also very apt. Improvement areas/Pointers are as follow,

1. I second Ambily above. Confidence is the key. You sounded very conscious here (maybe because of the unfamiliarity of language) and thats where the pitching got compromised. No doubt your singing has improved but there is still more room for improvement. The best thing you could do is learn the song by heart before attempting it. That way the flow will be still there.

2. This is a classic composition and the words penned by Javed Akhtar is in Purest form of Urdu. Lots of diction issues in the “heavy words” in the song like PakiZah, MOHabbat, FarisHtey, Husn etc. For such songs, you could ask help from someone on this forum who is proficient in Hindi to get it right and in process learn the words.

I hope you don’t mind my honest suggestions. This will help u become better since you will know the improvement areas to target. I am sure with practice and singing more Hindi songs, ur diction will improve which will positively influence ur confidence in pitching too.
