Hello,

Am Kingshuk – Bong by birth, bred at many places in India and currently based out of Gurgaon (Delhi-NCR). Professionally I am a technology consultant and a business analyst. Singing to myself and listening to different voices and genres has always been a stress buster for me.

Have been humming since I was a kid and as a child artist, did have an opportunity to perform in AIR. (It was because of an opportunity provided by my school). That was a long time back. Then came schooling, college, engineering, MBA, job, until now, I considered re-looking into music in a different way. Haven’t had the privilege to undergo any formal training in vocals hence no pedigree that I can claim of. Have had some formal training on the Indian Percussion (Tabla, Pakhwaj, Khol) but couldn’t sustain it long enough.

Apart from singing, I take quite an interest in painting. My painting genres are that of: Western – The Old Masters’ and Indian – Classical Fusion Style (started by Nandalal Bose and Ramananda Banerjee). I feel, my painting genre preferences, resonate pretty closely with those of my preferences for songs and music.

So a day came when I decided I would start recording…and lo…… I have started recording my cover versions of the old masters, but with a little rendition and touch of my own.

Having jumped onto it, my next milestone remains to see myself growing up from a hummer and self claimed performer to an acknowledged vocalist in specific genres.

I sincerely hope you that find my vocals and the music they represent worthy their candidature for valuable comments and feedback for improvement areas. Also do suggest songs which you feel may suite my voice and style.
