Kastadyne is basically the writer-composer duo of Sheldon Fonseca and Tejas Narayan (TJ). Sheldon is the lead vocal and lyricist and TJ is the bassist and composer on their album.
The band works out of Tejas’s professional studio lovingly nicknamed, Studio B. For the past 4 years, Kastadyne has been searching for their unique sound. Their debut album “Eleven Complaints” was a direct result of their searching.
Word on the street is that Kastadyne is an ‘original’, ‘new-age’ and ‘un-metal’ band.
The first song of the album, Victim of my Anger, was ranked at No.1 on soundclick.com out of 113,000 songs world-wide (alternative rock). Apart from an album launch in Mumbai they were also interviewed on Radio City, Radio Mirchi, Rainbow FM with Mihir Joshi, Indian Express, Mid-Day Metro and shortly on RAVE Magazine.
Kastadyne has also composed a song for an online game, Dance Mela by Kreeda. Backed by popular demand, the band has just finished the video of their chart-buster “Victim of my Anger”.
Kastadyne’s Eleven Complaints CD is on sale at Planet M stores and at www.musicyogi.com the online store as also internationally on iTunes, soundclick.com, napster.com, audiolunchbox.com, cdbaby.com, etc.
Kastadyne is already back in Studio B working on their second album.
