Bio

About me, I started learning the piano at age 7 and entered the world of music, under the guidance of Francis who was my first guru. I learnt the organ and then was introduced to the keyboard by Sunil cherai and Herald edappally.
Kapil Renji, a native of Pathanamthitta in Kerala, grew up in Kuwait. He studied at the United Indian School there and was learning Indian Carnatic music ever since his childhood days. Later his interest switched mainly to the keyboard. He focused a lot on prograaming music and started working with reputed musicians .
He says that he had almost given up on his musical career, soon after completing his graduation, “as nothing exciting was happening in my career.” But, as fate would have it, every time he tried to sell off his keyboard, it always came back to him, “as any guy who bought it from me with a mere small advance could never pile up the money that they had promised me for that keyboard and ended up giving it back to me.
He is not married, now working as sound engineer and jingle producer for Radio Voice 104.2 in the Kingdom of Bahrain……
Kapil’s first major break came when I was just 18 through Br. Johnson Mannon(Tejus Gospel Ministry) for whom he did the music orchestration of ten songs in a Christian album ‘Divyatejus’…’ He then went as an accompanying artiste to play the keyboard for Christian music shows.
Kapil started performing at a young age, has done the music arrangement for many films like OK chacko cochin to mumbai, Ilapozhiyum kaalam and many album’s
OK CHACKO was his maiden music background score venture in Malayalam.
He is one of the regular band members in a band called Harvest worshippers, a Christian contemporary band singing gospel fusion…
He has also assisted many Musician .
Kapil’s solo stage shows have propelled him to the top league of on-stage performers.⁴
Kapil was the Chief Audio Engineer at Rite Solutions Ernakulam. An accounts graduate, with keen interest in electronics and formal music training, he started a professional sound engineering career in 2003. He had engineered over 200 music albums and worked closely with directors like Berny Ignatious, Stephen Devassy, George Peter, Thomas Easaw ect…….
He is now working as Sound engineer for Radio voice 104.2….
