This is a song that i liked in my first audition itself. Also a proof that Malayalam film music is revamping it’s melody again.
A light and soothing melody from the movie – Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonnu, originally sung by Dasettan, composed by M Jayachandran and penned by Rajiv Alunkal.
Here’s my try. Hope you will like it :) My special thanks goes to Vishnu for providing me with a vocal masked track.

mild pitching probs felt esp at the end of charanams.but it didnt affect the outcome .

dear Friends, thanks a lot for your honest and encouraging comments. noted all the flaws pointed out here and i shall try my level best to overcome those challenges. it shows that you guys are sincere to me when you point out my flaws as well.
Biju, i’m not a big fan either of vocal masked tracks. in-fact it ties our hands by limiting us to sing on the exact points. so it could affect the flow of singing. but when i like a new song i don’t have the patience to wait for the Karaoke to be released :)
Suresh, thanks a lot for your appreciation and most welcome to my space :) i see a good singer in you. i know Sudeep Kumar very well. i was fortunate to share a stage with him in Dubai recently. he is a very simple, humble, friendly person.

I agree… great melody! However, as a devoted critic of music I have to say that this song follows the predictable course of the typical, oft heard Mal melody format. From my limited listening of Mal songs, the creative aspect of composition that struck me as paritcularly impressive, signalling a clear departure from the norm is “Poothumbi” (Male version ONLY!)from Calender by music director, Afzal Yusuf. (As noted in Biju’s I came across this song while scanning to hear the original of his cover version.)
You have done a superb job, Jose! Congrats. But do not ignore those mildly pitchy spots. Like I said before, if this song was sung live, it will be cent per cent perfect; but recording is less forgiving!
