Beautiful pick, what a song, and what a raag! Wonderful, soulful attempt, Jivanji. Very tough song to sing since it is sung with so much thehraav. A little more smoothness and delicate glides in harkats like Tu kaahe, baandha, nibhaade, etc. would make this even more top-notch.

Great gem of Rafi saab….its always a challenge to cover these gems by legends be it rafi saab or kishoreda. The singer unknowingly starts copying the original…also I have watched the youtube video of kishoreda singing this song as a tribute to rafi saab….and even then Kishoreda sang it as his own song…without copying rafi saab….whether people like it or not…thats individuality:) Great attempt Jivan bro …in your own style…except for the strain on the high notes…you have done very well. With regards to Harish bhai’s comment – not sure if this song is to be sung with a smiling face as it has a sad tone :-)
