I was very happy to read your questionnaire.
I would like to let you know my opinion.
Obviously different people are singing from different backgrounds.Some have been into it for years and are professionally trained, some have been practising it as a hobby and want to improve or be recognised as talent.
I have tried to sing some songs with the aim of testing out my own voice for different songs from singers.Presently from my songs I wanted to know for myself ,how,how,how I sing.,and get a few opinions.I agree to one of the comments that have been made- singing talent.
Then from there comes own compositions , music albums etc etc.this is what I feel too.It can also be as simple as composing your own song,setting it to music with a simple piano or guitar.
This is what I feel.
