Biography
Jeffrey Salazar Yumol (Born February 17, 1985) who uses the mononymous stage name JeffreYumol in his music career, is a multi-talented independent Hip-Hop artist, songwriter, DJ and short dokyu maker from Hermosa Bataan, Philippines.
As the CEO/President of his independent record label Downorth Records (www.downorth.co.nr),
Jef made it here to become somebody.
As a young boy, the aspiring rapper listened to the music of artists such as Jay-Z, Kanye West and Lil Wayne, who he cites as some of his early influences. JeffreYumol also joined the Indiepinoy (www.indiepinoy.com), a music company in the Philippines focused in providing tools for independent filipino artists in marketing their music in various forms from mobile content, digital/web content, cds and other alternative means. And later become a DJ of his own show, The Nursery Rhyme Show on RadioPilipinas.com.
At the age of 23, he launched his self-produced album entitled “Please”.
His first album contains 12 songs with his own lyrics and melody. With his unwavering fondness to music, JeffreYumol proves himself more than a contender to the throne, because this winner is already wearing the crown.
