My name is Hayden Woodard, I live in Woodland, WA. I am 19 years old. I play piano, guitar, and saxophone. I’ve played jazz for about 9 years, I played alto sax, then bari sax, then switched to tenor. I sang in the jazz choir in high school, and have worked with integrating vocals into my songs for a while. I’ve played guitar for 5 years or so and have worked with (or at least tried) just about every genre out there. I started playing piano a couple years ago and it has been my main focus recently as I’ve been trying to write more classical and jazz style songs. For recording my own stuff, I’ve been sort of forced into learning strings and drums and using midi keyboards to get the sound I’m after. I’m going to college right now and I’m hoping to get a music major to either teach music, or hopefully, one day be able to make a living from either composing or selling my own. I’m not currently in a band, I record all of the parts of my songs myself, so if anyone in the area is interested, I would love to have some people to play with and learn from (it gets lonely. lol.)
