Presenting a devotional song on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, originally sung by Lata Mangeshkarji.
This Gujrati Bhajan is written by Narsimh Maheta, a poet-saint exponent of Hindu devotional religious poetry,was born in Junagadh(Saurastra)Gujrat during 15th century.
His Bhajan ‘Vaishnavjan to tene kahiye….’ has become synonymous to Mahatma Gandhi.
I’m grateful to Madhukarbhai Maheta and Sojanbhai Chacko for providing K-Track for this beautiful Bhajan.
