I grew up listening to my dad soulfully singing all these yester-years gems at our home. Talat used to be a “very high” favorite of his, after Hemant Kumar, & Manna Dey.

While I used to sing Talat numbers at home, I always felt that I could modulate his voice without too much conscious effort. Your kind feedback above seems to reaffirm it to :-)….

Thank you very much for your kind words. Yes, Talat-ji’s songs are indeed quite challenging in terms of breath-control and modulations. It was a good experience for me to try and record this.

Again, I loved your Yaad Kiya Dil Ne, that you co-sang with Muzibooan Latha. I will check out more of your work soon.
