Harry….have to agree with Harish ….what a wonderful voice you have. You have sung this very well for the most part, there are minor issues like the variations of the ending note on “main hu pyar tera” …there is subtle variation of te raa a …rafi saab puts the last a in a different note while landing. Since this is a classic song, you will need to listen to it closely….I am sure this will be your best upload……keep at it.

Appreciate your feedback. Yes it is true we can’t find another Rafi and of course I will never try to even imitate him in my lifetime. He is a God and my Guru. That’s why I try to learn how he skillfully did expressive and non-duplicable singing.

Hi Harry,

Good choice of the song according to vocal chords. I feel the missing string which is a short of practice.

Voice is not much balance at some points it goes up and comes down without a flow of music.

I hope you will redo it after a week longer sessions of practice and I will listen to it again and sure to see much better results.

Don’t feel bad as all is for your betterment.

Vaishali, I did not quite get your question. About AKG, I have heard a lot of good things about it, but never got a good success while rendering my recording. BUT, must admit it is all my LACK of EXPERIENCE with mixing, mastering skills. Of late I have mostly recorded with M-Audio NOVA which is great because it does not record much of noise. However, I am planning to use AKG from my next rendition onwards with added experience and will certainly share my experience. It is considered to be the BEST Mike if the noise is minimal around you.
