Hello friends…!

By profession I am a Creative Director in the field of media but I have kept alive my passion for music and that is where my heart is. For me music is my soul and my inclination towards it started at a tender age. Without any “riaaz” (professional singing practice) I have managed to nurture my passion throughout all these years as I come from the family of singers. My Grandfather Late Shri Krishan “Premi”, was a famous devotional writer and singer in Punjab, my dad Shri Ravikant Verma, a Graduate in Indian Classical Music and have once performed with Shri Kalayan ji-Anand ji, and my uncle Shri Vijay Kumar nurtured singing as his hobby, and his younger brother
Late Shri Shyam Sunder “Premi” was a music director and singer in the Hindi film industry.

Late Shri Shyam Sunder “Premi” was one of the best students of Late Shri Jagjit Singh ji, under whose guidance he learnt the art of singing Gazals. Throughout his music career he had sung gazals, songs and done music direction, sung in television serials, has also sung bhajans, done Punjabi albums etc. His illustrious career saw him work alongside such renowned artists as S. Mahinder Jeet Singh, Sukhvinder Singh, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sh. Dheeraj Kumar, Prem Dhawan, Anoop Jalota Surinder Shinda, Vijay Arora (Ramayan Fame “Meghnath”)and even International artist Janet Jackson, and many more.

My sole purpose of joining “muziboo” is to give tribute to my uncle Late Shri Shyam Sunder “Premi” and to be able to bring his voice to the masses. It’s my humble request to all the visitors, that they browse through the collection uploaded of Late Shri Shyam Sunder “Premi” and listen to his unforgettable voice.

Growing up under the influence of such great singers, I am immensely inspired by them and have perused my passion for singing as a hobby. My collection also includes the songs sung by me, although I don’t stand anywhere in comparison to them. Please lend your ears to it and enjoy.
