As some of you know, my Father In Law passed away last Sunday (Jul 18th). He was a man full of love for everyone around him and one of the very few REAL CHRISTIANS I have met in my live. I shared a very special relationship with him.
For the past two months or so, I have had the good fortune of being with him and taking care of him. Me and my family were very hopeful he would be healed by God’s grace, but it was not to be. I have no doubts that he is in a much better place now, but for those of us who are left behind with just his memories, it is a challenging time.
A few hours before he passed away, I felt like blogging (after a very long time). I wrote about my internal battle and how my father in law helped restore my faith in God. You can find the blog here
Today as we were reliving his memories and feeling sad, this song came to mind. My father in law used to like listening to my gospel songs, and this is one I sang last December especially for my family. The song basically says that no matter what hardships we face and trials we have to go through, God is always with us and he will never let go. I felt like posting this song as a tribute to him as he always used to ask us to Trust in God.
